Our goal for interior painting is to eliminate the aggravation of having a contractor working in your home. We will work closely with you to make this experience as comfortable as possible. We are aware that it is your home and we are guests.

1. Furniture, floors and carpets will be protected by poly plastic or clean drop cloths. A clean rug or carpet will be laid at the front door, in place of yours, to ensure no dirt is tracked in.

2. Electrical switches, outlet covers, window treatments, and door hardware will be removed and reinstalled.

3. All surfaces will be properly cleaned and sanded as needed prior to the application of any paint or primer.

4. All bare surfaces will receive the appropriate primer. Watermarks, pen marks and other stains or blemishes will be properly sealed with a primer to stop the "bleed through".

5. Scraping or sanding will be done to remove any loose paint or other imperfections on walls or ceilings.

6. Cracks and holes in walls and ceilings will be repaired with drywall compound or spackle and then sanded smooth and primed. Drywall mesh tape can be applied over cracks where necessary for a more permanent repair.

7. Holes and imperfections in the woodwork will be filled, sanded smooth and primed prior to painting.

8. Caulking will be done with a 40-year acrylic caulk where needed.

9. All glossy surfaces will be sanded or dulled for proper paint adhesion.

10. Only QUALITY materials will be used. Quality materials give the best results and LAST LONGER. Sherwin Williams & Pittsburgh paints are our standard.

11. Newly painted surfaces will be free of runs, sags and drips. There should not be any paint on windowpanes, carpets, floors or anyplace else not being painted.

12. The work will be done in a neat, professional manner by skilled craftsmen that are polite, friendly, and work efficiently.

13. The jobsite will be kept clean at the end of each day and secured when the crew is not on the site.

14. Rooms will be vacuumed before furniture is replaced.

15. Waste materials, by-products and used solvents will be disposed of safely, properly, and in an environmentally responsible manner.

16. For you convenience, touch-up paint will be left at your home in labeled containers.
